I would like to know this same thing for Montgomery County Maryland. I am a night person because of a circadian rhythm thing, and someone who does not drive for Uber suggested that I would make more money at night simply because there are fewer drivers around (but there are also fewer riders).

I imagine driving at night would be easier going due to there being almost no traffic to get through and some local traffic lights being in flashing mode so there are fewer red lights taking up driving time. Faster drive time means getting to the next job sooner, so maybe a driver can fit in more rides than during the day.
