rolling down the window and attemting conversation is not a good idea and may cause a scene if you decide not to let them in.

uber pool is not new or a creation of uber, it what ride sharing is. Hell its been going on for years. also there is a thing called a bus which has a select route and can pick up lots of people going in a similar direction.

    Denver to DIA sucks...

I think there needs to a regional thread for Airports. DIA is the worst with standard 1 hour waits for rides. You can spin in circles or park in short term but it's almost like you gotta pack a lunch for after your fare to kill an hour. I've reset my app so many times because I'm like "you can't be serious" when it comes to the wait time. Any one in Denver have similar experience

I like to get a few trips in the AM and then work on my college work.
I avoid the drunk hours not just to avoid cleaning up puke but to avoid my car getting crashed into by drunk drivers. Not worth the risk.

It appears in my area (Greenville NC), Uber has overstaturated the market with drivers. This past week, I was online, available to receive ride requests for 51 hours. Yet,I only made $248.30 or $4.86 per hour. I really don't know where Uber gets the $20 per hour amount they like to quote. Love the interaction with the riders and having the flexibility to do it at your convenience is great, but make no mistake, there are lots of headaches and when you actually follow the accounting through, you're not making any profit at all, basically getting an advance on the depreciation of your car. Uber should reward their best, most dependable drivers with more trips to help keep up their earnings. We have tons of young drivers in town that give their cards out and then work outside the application. When I started driving for Uber about 9 months ago, for me to have been logged on 50+ hours would have given me at least $500 a week or more. Not anymore.
