I tried to use the Uber service earlier but kept running into the error "invalid arguments" message. What happened here and how do I solve this? I was left to take a ride from a taxi.

    Good luck with that!

sounds like there's an issue with the rider app. My $.02 would be to uninstall the app, restart your phone and then re-download and reinstall the app.

It was a problem with using ApplePay. I switched to using my credit card and then it worked. Uninstalling, powering off my phone and then reinstalling did not work.
