Uber app has no "Where to?" box to request a ride

    Hey everyone, so my Uber app is basically acting as a map right now and that's it. I have no way of requesting a ride with the app unless I am missing something very basic here. I uninstalled it, reset my phone and tried again via the Play Store but it still acts the same.

    I didn't get your point exactly but it might be a cookies/history issue, so clear your phone cookies and try again.

    Try customer service. Sorry that was a joke. Uber doesnt have a customer service dept.

    You need to turn on the location services on your phone.

    I faced the same problem a few day ago. It's very simple and easily sideline-able problem. Go to mobile settings>Location services>Set mode to high accuracy. Switch on the mobile GPS and then open the Uber app. You'll certainly find the search bar to enter your destination. Sometimes the problem can arise if you have not installed the updates properly. So, try that as well if necessary. Hope this helps.
