More options exist for delivery than ever before, but don't expect pizza delivery giant Domino's Pizza to partner with a company like Uber anytime soon.

Through UberFRESH, Uber delivers restaurant meals in parts of Los Angeles within ten minutes for a flat $3 delivery fee. In February, it launched the on-demand food service in Barcelona as UberEATS.

While Uber's technology is "terrific," Domino's CEO Patrick Doyle said the pizza chain also has "the best real-time delivery system around" during an earnings conference call.

"And so, are there things that we can do that potentially are going to make us more efficient? Sure. And it's part of the investment that we make in technology to help our folks be more efficient over time. But are we going to wind up using somebody else to do it, something like that? No," Doyle.

For now, Domino's remains "plenty efficient" with its own drivers, whom customers expect to see when they place a pizza order.

"And that's certainly the way that it's going to continue," he added.
